Signing a contract

If you are part of a group signing for a shared house, you will be required to come in to our offices and sign a contract. Ideally, the whole group should attend the appointment at the same time.

If you are signing for an individual room in a shared house or a self contained property you can either sign the paperwork in our offices, or you have the option of completing your agreement using our rent online system.

How long is the appointment?

You should allow at least 45 minutes for the appointment.

• You will be asked to complete a Tenants Details Form so we can gather your personal details.
• We will then explain the Tenancy Agreement and this is chance to ask any questions you may have.
• The deposit amount will then be processed
• Once the signing is completed in full, you or your group will leave with a duplicate copy of the agreement.
• You will get a Tenants Handbook, information on the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and information on 'How to rent in England and Wales'

What to bring with you

• Student ID or letter of course confirmation
• Deposit amount - you can pay by cheque, cash, card
